There's lots going on at El Dorado Equestrian! 

Yearly show   Each December, we have a schooling show to give our beginning and intermediate riders an opportunity to practice riding for shows. A well qualified judge is present to award prizes in combined training events. A high-jump contest is a highlight of the yearly show.

Christmas Parade   Join us on our float for the annual Placerville Christmas Parade. 

Recitals   Riders can show off their riding progress to family and friends. Parties after. 

Playdays   Just for the fun of it. We get together for an afternoon of games that give everyone a chance to ride -- even parents! 

Field Trips   In 2005 we spent a week riding at the Yorkshire Riding School in the Yorkshire Dales. In 2007 we flew to Kentucky to watch the International Rolex 3-Day Competition. Every year we enjoy several days of beach riding at Pt. Reyes. In 2008, our high schoolers traded horses for dolphins in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We also take advantage of our proximity to the UC Davis veterinary school with trips to the university to learn about large animal health.
